On making a strong start

"My players remain humble. They know they have to deliver both in matches and in their day-to-day approach. If we want to win, we need to be at our very best, and that's exactly what we intend to be when we face Cracovia."

On the demanding schedule

"I don't see any signs of fatigue in the squad yet, but it's still only the beginning of the season. There are plenty of matches ahead of us in the coming weeks; however, at the moment I don't feel any of the players need additional rest. I'd also like to give opportunities to a larger number of players."

On potential changes to the starting XI

"I'm expecting only minor changes to the line-up compared to our previous match. I haven't made my final decision yet, but I can say there certainly won't be a surprising rotation."

On Allahyar Sayyadmanesh

"Allahyar isn't ready to play a full match yet, but we're working on getting him there physically. I have to admit that the two weeks he spent away waiting for his visa, and therefore missing training with the team during pre-season, had a significant impact on his fitness. He wasn't able to play football during that time, but I believe he'll gradually receive more minutes on the pitch. I expect him to be ready soon, although we're not quite at that stage yet."

On the opponent

"Cracovia are certainly no weaker than they were last season. It's difficult to judge their true level at this stage because this will be their first competitive match. However, I do think there has been a change in the way they want to play. We've analysed their pre-season friendlies and, while those matches don't always tell the full story, some adjustments in their approach are evident. We also remember last season's opener, when we lost 4:1 and on Saturday we need to defend much better than we did in that game."

On the excitement ahead of the league opener

"There's always a sense of excitement before an Ekstraklasa match. We've had positive experiences over the last two seasons, but we approach this campaign with the same objective of winning the championship title. It's never easy in this league, but that's what we're aiming for. We have high ambitions, and we're excited to be getting the season underway."

On the squad's fitness

"Alex Douglas isn't training at full intensity yet, but he's getting closer to that stage. We expect him to return to full training either next week or the week after, most likely after the second leg against Aarhus. Aside from that, we have no injury issues."
