Uglebjerg parts ways with Lech
After Lech's last match of 2025, Markus Uglebjerg - who has been Niels Frederiksen's assistant coach since the summer - will say goodbye to the club from Poznań.
"Coach Markus Uglebjerg is leaving our club after the autumn round for personal reasons. We would like to thank him very much for the past few months of work and wish him success in his future coaching career. As for us, we are working on the shape of the coaching staff for the spring round, holding talks with candidates, and we will provide further details once the matter has been finalised,” explained Lech's Sporting Director, Tomasz Rząsa.
Markus Uglebjerg joined Lech at the end of May. The 26-year-old Dane has been helping with the everyday coaching work, with a focus on set pieces. Now he will return to Denmark due to personal reasons.
