Lech Poznań qualified for the III round of the qualifications for the Europa League, having won 3:0 with Nomme Kalju in the return leg. Tomasz Kędziora, Kasper Hamalainen and Dawid Kownacki got the goals for the hosts.
The players of Lech had to prove that the loss in Estonia was an accident and so since the very first minute the hosts were focused on their aim to attack. In the 2nd minute Teles has to intervene after Ubiparips strong shot. 5 minutes later Lovrencsics cross reached Kędziora but the young defenders header was slightly inaccurate. Ubiparip found himself in a similar situation in the 9th minute and the forward missed as well. With time the Estonian players organized themselves but corner kicks remained a problem for the guests. Lech took the lead in the 33rd minute thanks to a dead ball. Lovrencsics sent a center from a corner kick and Kędziora gave no chance to Teles with a precise header. In the 40th minute Kamiński was close to placing the ball in the net himself. Just before the break Lech managed to change the result once again. In the 43rd minute Teles saved Ubiparips shot but Hamalainen was in the right place at the right time and he sent the ball to the back of the net.
At halftime the coach of Nomme decided for an offensive substitution. The guests began to attack bravely but it was Lech which was closer to scoring a goal. Pawłowski, Ubiparip and Hamalainen were close to making it 3:0 but in all three cases the ball slightly missed the goal. Nomme replied with Nunes and Wakuis inaccurate shots. In the 75th minute the result should have changed again. Keita who has just come on the pitch passed a precise ball to Kownacki but the young forward hit the goalkeeper. Kalju had nothing to lose so they began attacking in the last 10 minutes. The ending was full of emotions, with Lech at last scoring their third goal. Kownacki found himself in a one-on-one situation and sent the ball into the net.
