The Sunday schedule kicked off with a clash between Lech Poznań and Valencia. The hosts defeated the Spaniards 2:0, but where their series of good performances finished – in the key match of the knockout round, Lech lost to KRC Genk 2:3. The Belgian youngsters went through to the final where they met Chelsea who have been performing impressively, winning 7 points in the group stage.

However, prior to that, Warta Poznań played against Southampton in the match for the 7th place and triumphed.

Lech Poznań, for the fourth time in a row, finished the tournament 3rd.
