MC: Lech Poznań - Rapid Bucharest 1:3

In the second  match of  Marbella Cup tournament Lech Poznań lost to Romanian Rapid Bucharest 1 to 3. Lech took the lead after a goal by Tomasz Kędziora. Daniel Pancu equalized by penalty and the final score was settled by two goals of Nicolae Grigore.
The  match against  Rapid began with a 15-minute delay due to a lack of referees. Eventually, some  local referee was found  and the game could start, though the first few minutes were played  without the linesmen, who arrived later. The Longer break did not distract the players from Poznań and they could have taken the lead just 2 minutes from the first whistle. Hamalainen -debuting in the colors of Kolejorz- perfectly played to Linetty, but his shot from an acute angle only hit the outer side of the net. Rapid responded three minutes later. Kędziora made a terrible mistake and Martin was millimeters from defeating Kotorowski . Fortunately,  the young defender of  Lech wasn't put off by his mistake  and in 8th minute opened the score. The precise corner kick was delivered by Drewniak, and  Kędziora in his dynamic style got to the ball and scored a header. Pecanhi-Rapid's gaolkeeper had no chance to defend the ball. Rapid equalized very quickly.

In the 12th minute Grigori decided to shoot from outside the box, the ball was deflected and left the field. After a corner  Oros was trying to shoot and the ball accidentally  hit  Wołąkiewicz on his hand. Despite this, the referee pointed to a penalty shot line. Penalty was executed by Pancu. Lech should have regained the lead in the 18 minute. Linetty passed the ball to the right side of the active Kędziora who crossed it perfectly at full speed to Ubirparip's  head. The Serb was on the 4th meter having only the opponent's goalkeeper in front of him. However, he hit the ball straight into him. Lech created another excellent goal opportunity in the 31st minute. Murawski passed the ball perfectly to Hamalainen, who took it well, but in a clear goal opportunity sent it over the bar. A minute later Ceesay forced Kotorowski to make an effort by directing the ball towards him. However, the experienced goalkeeper managed to parry the ball into the corner and the score of the first part of the match was 1:1.

During the break coach Mariusz Rumak made just one change. Możdżeń replaced Hamalainen and changed sides with Linetty. The second half started much better for the Romanians, who in the  51st minute took the lead. Lech's wool-gathering was used to the advantage of the Romanians.  Grigore executed a free kick very fast and got into one on one situation with Kotorowski. He kicked the ball  between the legs of Lech's goalkeeper and it went straight into the back of the net. Lech had a lot of problems with offensive actions and the Romanians used every of their situations. In the 69th minute after Roman's cross from a corner in all the commotion the ball fell right to the feet of  Grigore, who defeated Kotorowski with a sure shot. Lech tried to score, but they couldn't find a way through Rapid's careful defence. Kolejorz finally lost 1to3 and will play for the 7th place at the end of the tournament in Spain.
