Lech finished the Championship-winning 2025/2026 season with a home match. Niels Frederiksen’s side drew 2:2 with Wisła Płock in the final game of the campaign before celebrating the club’s tenth league title.
Everything was already decided before the kick-off. Lech had secured the Polish Championship title a week earlier, while Wisła Płock no longer had any chance of qualifying for the European competition. As a result, there was little at stake, and everyone at Enea Stadium was waiting for the final whistle to begin the official celebrations.
The match itself was played at a fairly relaxed pace. The hosts created more chances but lacked a clinical edge in key moments. Luis Palma, however, showed no such problem. In the 29th minute, the Honduran produced a superb direct free-kick to put his team ahead. The guests equalised shortly after halftime when Zak Rogelj beat Bartosz Mrozek from close range.
Lech restored parity less than 15 minutes later. Michał Gurgul delivered a precise cross right onto Patrik Walemark’s head, and the Swede scored in the second consecutive match. Wisła had a chance to respond almost immediately after, since the referee awarded them a penalty for Mateusz Skrzypczak’s handball. Mrozek, however, guessed Nemanja Mijusković’s intentions and saved his team from conceding a goal.
Just as it seemed that Frederiksen’s squad would claim victory, Marcin Kamiński found the back of the net in added time and set the final score to 2:2.
