The atmosphere is getting better
The atmosphere in the dressing room is getting better. The recent wins have had a great influence on the players’ moods. Now the team is preparing to the upcoming clashes with smiles on their faces.
On Friday Lech won with Cracovia and finally gathered 3 points in a league match. “Every match we play at home, we are in possession of the ball for the majority of the game and we are in control of the play. The difference between the previous matches and the clash with Cracovia is that we finally scored goals. We did not let Cracovia too close, meanwhile we built a couple of good goal-scoring opportunities for ourselves,” explained Nicki Bille.
The Dane did not score in the recent match with Cracovia, but he did place the ball in the net when facing Podbeskidzie. Both games ended with a win for Lech. “We are pleased that we have finally started winning. 4 matches without a win have been tough for us and we knew we had to show what we are capable of, especially that we were playing at home. We can handle the pressure and win important games and we have just proved that,” emphasized the forward.
Bille believes that the recent matches will have a very big influence on the team. “The atmosphere is getting better. Footballl to us is what it is to fans - our whole life. If we lose, we are sad and angry. Meanwhile, wins improve our moods greatly. Therefore, we are preparing for the upcoming match with a smile on our faces,” said the striker.
