Lech's Europa League rivals revealed
The Europa League and Conference League league-phase draws took place in Monaco on Friday afternoon. Lech Poznań, who will compete in the former, have learned the eight opponents that they will face between September 16th and January 28th.
Two Polish clubs have made it to the league phase of the Europa League - Lech Poznań and Jagiellonia Białystok. They are also the only Polish sides to compete in the European arena this autumn. On Friday, both teams discovered their upcoming opponents in a league-phase draw for the Europa League and Conference League.
36 clubs were divided into four pots. Lech was placed in Pot 3. Every team was drawn against two rivals from each pot. The only rule was that clubs could not be drawn against another side from the same country. As was the case last season, each pairing was determined with a single click.
As a reminder, during the league phase each team accumulates points by playing eight matches - four at home and four away.

Ferencváros TC (Hungary) - home
Union SG (Belgium) - away
Sunderland (England) - home
Crystal Palace (England) - away
SCU Torreense (Portugal) - home
OFI Crete (Greece) - away
A detailed fixture schedule with kick-off times will be announced by UEFA in the coming hours, following consultation with TV rights holders. Ticket sales will begin on September 1st.
