Lech Poznan - Metalist Kharkiv 5:0

In the third sparing game of the winter groupings, Lech Poznan won with Metalist Kharkiv 5:0 (2:0). Vojo Ubiparip and Dawid Kownacki scored two goals each, while Denis Kulakov set the final result with an own goal.

Lech's domination was indisputable. Metalist found it hard to leave their own half of the pitch. In the 6th minute Jevtic sent a great pass to Ubiparip whose shot went next to the goalkeeper, but also next to the post. The Serbian forward was more effective 10 minutes later. Blocked by the defender, Ubiparip tried sending a center into the penalty area, but the ball found its way into the net. The goal forced the Ukrainian team to be braver, however their attacks did not cause much trouble to Lech, which kept on attacking. In the 30th minute Kedziora sent a pass to Ubiparip, but his header was stopped by the goalkeeper. A moment later Disljenković had to take the ball out of his net once again. Jevtic played a well-timed pass to Ubiparip and the latter changed the result to 2:0 with a volley.

The rest of the goals were scored in the second half. Lech came back after halftime with a barely differing squad... but in new kits. Metalist dominated at the beginning of the second half, but they seemed to have lost their enthusiasm when they were scored another goal. Yet again it was Jevtic who shone by dribbling past three players, while Kownacki turned his pass into a goal. 4 minutes later the 17 year-old player added the second goal to his account. Metalist won a corner kick, but it ended with Lech's lethal counterattack led by Ubiparip and Kownacki, with the latter one beating the goalkeeper with a lob. Kulakov set the final result with an own goal a pretty spectacular shot, however not into the right goal. Ceesay sent a center from the left flank and the Ukrainian lucklessly directed the ball into his own net.
