Lech Poznań played the third sparing game against Lechia Gdańsk. Kolejorz won 3:0 thanks to the goals of Darko Jevtić, Tomasz Kędziora and Vojo Ubiparip.
Since the very beginning it was the team from Poznań that dominated the game. Lech led the game and Lechia remained patiently waiting for an opportunity to counterattack. The players of Mariusz Rumak had their first chance in the 16th minute when Pawłowskis shot was saved by Trela. 10 minutes later Lechia was the one to attack but Kotorowski was in the right place at the right time and he saved Aleksics header. Half an hour after the first whistle Lech changed the result. Wilusz sent a precise long ball to Pawłowski, the winger passed it into the penalty area and Jevtić placed the ball in the net with a volley. The team from Gdańsk had another chance just before the break but once again Kotorowski intervened successfully and the first half ended with Lech leading 1:0.
The coach of Lechia decided to substitute 8 players at halftime while Mariusz Rumak changed only two. However, the game did not change. The team from Poznań was in possession of the ball most of the time while their opponents waited for a chance to counterattack. Although, before such opportunity arose, the result changed once again. In the 57th minute Lovrencsics sent a precise cross into the penalty area and it was Kędziora who jumped the highest and placed the ball in the net with a header. Despite a two-goal lead, Lech still dominated the game. In the 65th minute Ubiparip tried surprising the goalkeeper but his shot was too weak. 3 minutes later Pawłowski hit the side net. Lovrencsics had a great opportunity in the 78th minute but Podleśny turned to be better. Lech marked their domination 2 minutes later. Formella, Pawłowski and Ubiparip played a great offensive action and the Serbian forward ended it with a precise shot that turned the result to 3:0.
