Lech parts ways with Dagerstål
Lech Poznań is parting ways with Filip Dagerstål. The contract with the 28-year-old centre-back was terminated by mutual agreement.
The Swede joined Lech Poznań in the summer of 2022. During his first campaign in Poznań, the centre-back appeared in 32 games, including 20 matches in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. Dagerstål also played in 10 European clashes and helped the team advance to the quarterfinals of the Europa Conference League. However, the following season wasn’t as successful for the 28-year-old – he appeared on the pitch 7 times in the league, and once in the European competition qualifiers. On October 28th, in the away clash with Cracovia (1:1), Dagerstål suffered a serious injury which has forced him to pause until today.
Now the two sides have reached a mutual agreement on the termination of the centre-back’s contract, which was valid until June 2026. Filip, we will keep our fingers crossed for you, and we wish you all the best in your career!
