Andersson leaves Lech
Elias Andersson is leaving Lech Poznań. The contract of the Swedish defender has been terminated by mutual agreement.
The 29-year-old joined Lech from the Swedish club Djurgårdens IF during the 2023/2024 preseason. He played a total of 27 matches in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa - including 23 in his first year at Bułgarska Street - and provided four assists. His tally also includes one appearance in the Polish Cup and three in European competition qualifiers.
The Swede spent six months on loan at the Danish club Viborg FF during the recent spring round before returning to the capital of Greater Poland in the summer. He spent the preseason training with the Polish Champions, but did not get a chance to play in any match. Now, both parties have agreed to terminate the contract.
