This season Lech Poznan managed to catch up when their rivals were winning as many as six times. However, in both clashes with Legia Warsaw, Berg's players were the ones forced to chase the result.

Fighting till the very end

Lech is the team that has to chase the result most often in the league. Skorza's players do not lack determination, as they are the only team that managed to collect points in six matches that the rivals were winning. Lech lost a goal in the first half 9 times this season and out of those matches 3 were at last won by the team from Poznan and three of them were drawn. No other Polish team has achieved such a great result!

In the last quarter of the game Lech scored 15 out of 52 goals (in the 30 rounds of T-Mobile Ekstraklasa). Those numbers are in the very top of the league ranks. The team from the capital scored a single goal more in the last 15 minutes of the match, however those goals weren't as decisive as Lech's, considering that Legia lost 8 games this season.

A different scenario

In both matches against Legia played this year, the situation looked different. Skorza's players were the ones to score first in both clashes, and therefore the team from capital was forced to catch up. In the match in Warsaw Legia scored an equalizer in the very last minute of the game. However, at INEA Stadium, thanks to the unparalleled support, Lech won all three points.

Currently Lech is one point behind their opponents from Warsaw. On the upcoming Saturday the team from Poznan will face Legia in an away match, and if they win, Lech will take over the position of the leader.
