Lech Poznań – Lechia Gdańsk 3:0 

The first half didn’t forecast a high win for Lech – with neither of the teams finding a way to place the ball in the net nor cause real problems to the opponent, at halftime the scoreboard showed a goalless draw.

However, the second half looked different – Lech kicked off with an intense focus on the offence which quick bore fruit. 7 minutes into the second half, Tymoteusz Puchacz sent a good cross from the left flank towards the further post where Michał Skóraś was waiting to redirect the ball into the back of the net. Within 5 minutes, it was already 2:0 for the hosts. This time, Mikael Ishak was fouled inside Lechia’s box and following video replays, the referee decided to award the team from Poznań with a penalty kick which the Swede effortlessly converted the opportunity into a goal.

In the 65th minute, Dani Ramirez set the final score to 3:0 with a beautiful finish of an offensive attempt led by Jakub Kamiński. Unfortunately, the talented winger was forced to leave the pitch shortly after as his sprint down the left flank cost him - what turned out to be - a minor injury.

On Friday, Lech Poznań is going to travel to Bielsko-Biała where they are going to face local Podbeskidzie – a team fighting to avoid relegation.
