Lech Poznan - Gornik Leczna 1:0

The hosts knew that Gornik wont be coming to Poznan only to defend and the team from Leczna proved it on the pitch. The guests could have taken the lead in the 11th minute when Gostomski made a mistake and as a result Bonin took the ball, but the winger missed. Lech had its own chance 6 minutes later but Prusak saved Hamalainens shot from a volley. Further into the game the hosts seemed to dominate the play, but they were too slow to cause any serious trouble to their opponents. Both sides had their opportunities, however none of them succeeded in taking the lead and the first half ended with a blank tie.

Coach Skorza sent Lovrencsics on the pitch as a substitution for Sadajew but the Hungarian player did not influence the image of the game drastically. Gostomski was tested twice by shots from a distance, however, he intervened successfully in both cases. In the 71st minute Lovrencsics shot was redirected and the ball passed next to the post. 5 minutes later guests had an opportunity of their own. The game was heading towards a goalless draw, but in the 81st minute Keita sent a technical shot from a long distance and he beat Prusak. The hosts managed to complete all three points.
