Wisła Płock – Lech Poznań 0:1

Since the opening minutes, it was evident that Lech was the better side, and it was only a matter of time before the team from Poznań would find the back of the net. Despite creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities, for a long time, Skorża’s players struggled to convert the chances into goals. Only towards the end of the first half did Lech successfully break down Wisła’s defensive line thanks to a great shot from Dawid Kownacki.

The modest, 1:0 win for the side from Poznań might be considered misleading as their dominance and control over the game should be better reflected by the score. However, as a result of this important win, Lech remains the leader of PKO BP Ekstraklasa. Their next league clash is scheduled for Wednesday when they will face Górnik Łęczna, in a postponed match, at Bułgarska Street (6 pm).
