Hansa Rostock Lech’s third sparring rival
A week before PKO BP Ekstraklasa resumes, Lech Poznań will play their third and last winter friendly game. On Saturday, January 21st (2:00 pm), the Polish side will face Hansa Rostock at Bułgarska Street.
The club has already announced that Lech’s senior squad will play two training games during their training camp in Dubai. On January 7th, the Polish Champions are going to face one of the local clubs from the United Arab Emirates, and then 3 days later, they will play against Eintracht Frankfurt – last season’s Europa League winners who, this season, have gone through to the round of 16 of Champions League.
Another training match was scheduled to be played at Bułgarska Street after John van den Brom’s squad returns to Poland. The club has now announced that the first team will play against Hansa Rostock in the last winter training game. The German side is currently ranked 9th in 2. Bundesliga. The sparring match is scheduled for Saturday, January 21st, at 2:00 pm. Interestingly, both clubs’ B teams will also face each other that same day, 2 hours earlier, on the training pitch located at Bułgarska Street.
