Hungarian Videoton FC is the next rival that Lech has to face on his way to the group stage of Europa League. The two teams will play the first game at INEA Stadium on August 20th.
Hungarian Videoton FC is the next rival that Lech will have to face on his way to the group stage of Europa League. The two teams will play the first game at INEA Stadium on August 20th.
Similarly to Lech, the Hungarian club is the local champion and they found themselves in Europa League play-offs after being eliminated from Champions League qualifications. In the second qualifying round, Videoton won in the two-leg clash against Welsh The New Saints (after additional time), but they did not manage to beat BATE Borisov. Although Hungarians drew 1:1 when playing away from home, at their own home ground they lost 0:1.
The first match between Lech and Videoton will take place on August 20th, while the second-leg is going to be played in Hungary on August 27th.
